I really enjoyed this motion graphic final piece that I created, a realistic rebrand advertisement. I made sure to use the brand guidelines to be recognisable and wanted a retro style twist on this by using simple shapes illustrations made in Adobe Illustrator and copyright-free retro music. This has helped me gain further skills in Adobe After Effects, as it’s quite new to me. For each of the six scenes, I had about 10 seconds for continuity and an exit scene for three seconds. I feel like a minute and three seconds is about the same time you get for real advertisements. I used catch me if you can title sequence as an inspiration for myself when creating the effects and transitions, making it look like to following a story. I am happy with my first motion production. I mainly used easy ease in my production to make objects fast/slow, which is more realistic. I agree that this motion graphics production aligns with the brand’s primary target audience of 10 to 35-year-olds.
